OPERA ON ICE 2011

A packed arena, an ecstatic audience, and two standing ovations for the show that united figure skating and opera for the first time

Verona, October 1, 2011 - A sold-out Arena of Verona for 'Opera on Ice,' the revolutionary show that combines figure skating on ice with opera music.

The show featured world skating champions, led by Carolina Kostner, along with singers, the orchestra, and the chorus of the Arena of Verona, conducted by Fabio Mastrangelo. Among the most applauded of the evening, alongside Kostner, was Swiss champion Stéphane Lambiel.
